Hi! I’m Jenean,
I’m a self-educated woman who, despite being homeschooled, has been the sole financial provider for myself and my children for decades. Throughout these years, I’ve juggled a myriad of responsibilities, but often, I neglected my own needs.
Like many of you, I’ve worn multiple hats in my life, and I know what it’s like to feel completely overwhelmed. There have been numerous times when I lived in survival mode and experienced profound despair when the demands of life seemed insurmountable. However, several years ago I made a life-altering decision to embark on a journey to discover and embrace joy amidst the chaos. My only regret is that it took me so long to make that decision.
While I don’t claim to be an expert, experience has been my greatest teacher. I’ve created this website for those of you who find yourselves engulfed by the demands of your busy lives, making it challenging to recall your true passions. Even worse, some of you may have lost sight of who you are and what you aspire to become.
My mission is to share the wisdom I’ve gained along my unique path, and together, we can navigate the challenges of life, rediscover our passions, and reconnect with our true selves. Welcome to a community where joy, self-discovery, and personal growth are at the heart of our journey.
In the mirror is an old lady – her face etched with the lines of time.
Her eyes, once bright and lively, now stare back with a distant shine.
Who is she, this reflection? She seems like a stranger to me.
Is she the girl of my youth, or the woman I’ve come to be?
Her hair, once thick and flowing, now gray-tinged and thinning with age.
Her skin, once smooth and supple, now worn like a well-read page.
While some might not recognize it, there is a beauty in the wisdom of her years.
A life full of love and laughter, and tough lessons only learned through tears.
On close inspection, the dreamy youth is still there, deep under blended faces of joy and dark despair.
My goodbye to youth is bittersweet – anticipating my life over, laid down at the Savior’s feet.
But, not quite yet.
So, I’ll embrace this old lady, and the journey that brought her here, for she is more than just part of me, she’s the pages in a book – a story to be held dear.
And when this book is finished, what sequel will it inspire? I won’t be writing that story, but knowing it lives on… That is what I desire.
